Вопросы выбора формы фолата для коррекции фолатного статуса

Проведен систематический анализ литературных данных по проблеме выбора оптимальной формы фолатов с целью коррекции фолатного статуса в акушерско-гинекологической практике.
Существует большое количество доказательств того, что повышение фолатного статуса снижает риск неонатальных дефектов нервной трубки. Повышенное потребление фолатов рекомендуется в предгравидарной подготовке и на ранних стадиях беременности, назначают дополнительный прием фолиевой кислоты (ФК) или 5-метилтетрагидрофолата (L-5-метил-ТГФ). L-5-метил-ТГФ имеет целый ряд преимуществ по отношению к ФК, поскольку является физиологическим соединением, обладает большей биодоступностью. L-5-метил-ТГФ также доступен в виде кристаллической формы соли кальция (метафолин), которая обладает стабильностью, которая необходима для использования в качестве добавки. При коррекции фолатного статуса в акушерско-гинекологической практике рекомендуется делать выбор в пользу лекарственной формы, обладающей лучшей биодоступностью.
